Claire and Tim would like to welcome you to their home, where you can enjoy traditional hospitality with home cooking using local produce.

Haven Cottage offers you a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. It is conveniently situated on the edge of picturesque Ambleside with a good selection of shops, restaurants and cinemas only 3 minutes walk away, yet it is just a short stroll to Lake Windermere or the beautiful countryside. 

Ample private parking is available off road at the front of the property.

Originally two Victorian cottages, the property now provides modern facilities whilst retaining the traditional feel of a country cottage.

Food is sourced locally, where possible, and is used to produce a traditional Cumbrian breakfast. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice.

Loughrigg Fell at the back of Haven Cottage.

If it's cold don't be surprised to find some Red deer hinds and a Stag by the fence.
